Our traditional residence halls are home to predominantly first-year Loyola Marymount University students. In these buildings, two LMU students share a room, and the residents on the floor share one or more bathrooms. Some buildings have a limited number of singles available.
Can you pick your roommate at LMU?
LMU Crimson students who would like to live in a 5-person apt., 6-person apt. or other special room can select these rooms, if available, during room selection beginning at their timeslot. Students may form a roommate group of 6 but will need to make changes to the group if no 6-person units are available.

Because Loyola is centrally located, students have the opportunity to live in the heart of downtown or in the various suburbs of Los Angeles. Although Loyola does not offer on-campus student housing, the majority of our students live in downtown Los Angeles, West Hollywood, and the Miracle Mile area.

Appliances. The University partners with Collegiate Concepts to provide on-campus residents the opportunity to lease microfridges (microwave-refrigerator combinations). You may bring your own refrigerator as long as it is no larger than 5.0 cubic feet or lease a maximum of one microfridge per room.
