This double or triple major will be recorded on your transcript, but you will earn only one degree. If one major leads to a BA degree and another to a BS, you must decide at graduation which degree you wish to receive. The second major will take the place of a related area.

How do I drop a major Pitt?
Unless you are an athlete or a First-Year student in an Academic Community, you may add/drop at any time online through my.pitt.edu. It is recommended that you notify your advisor by e-mail of the changes that you make to your schedule.
Does Pitt read Common App essay?
Per a conversation with Pitt’s Office of Admissions, they will now receive students’ Common App personal statement, but they will again have short answer questions, though now as supplemental essays. No word yet on what these questions will be for the high school class of 2019.
