Does Upitt look at Common App essay?
No, it does not! We don’t preference one over the other in our review process, so it’s entirely up to you! The Common Application and Coalition Application provides extra space for me to enter things like extracurricular activities, awards, and essays.

Competitive applicants will have: 3.5 minimum cumulative GPA. Minimum SAT score of 1130 or minimum ACT composite score of 23 (The SAT and/or ACT may be waived if the transfer applicant graduated high school 2+ years prior to their application date and has desired college coursework).
Does Upitt take recommendations?
Letters. The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid does not seek out Letters of Recommendation. We find greater value in hearing from you in your own words on your Personal Statement or your Common App Essay.

USC does not participate in the CSS IDOC program. Complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA Application online. The FAFSA determines your eligibility for the low-interest Direct Loan as well as federal and state grants.
