How can I park for free at UCSD?
Visitor Parking
- Individuals coming to campus for one hour or less can park for free using the ParkMobile app (select zone 4752 valid in V spaces only) or by using a pay station.
- After the first free hour, campus visitors may park for $1.50/hour with a daily maximum charge of $6.

Where is guest parking at UCSD?

Temporary visitor parking permits can be purchased for 1 to 6 hours or for the entire day at vending machines in the Gilman Parking Structure or in Lot P406 (map), located on the east side of the structure. Park in the spaces marked with a white V and place your purchased permit on the car dashboard.

Parking is very limited and we recommend that you plan on not having a vehicle and use other means of transportation to travel to off-campus destinations. If you do not receive a parking space please do not bring a car with you to UCSB. Other parking is not available (i.e. street parking in Isla Vista).
