Is parking free at UCI?
A parking permit is required at all times to park on the UCI Campus in Irvine. Parking regulations are enforced 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Vehicles without a permit will be cited.

How does parking work at UCI?
A valid parking permit is required at all times when parking on campus. Visitors may purchase a permit at any information kiosk, dispenser, or through UCI’s ParkbyPlate signage located in select parking areas. All options accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).
Is UCI enforcing parking?

Where can you park at UCI?
Visitor parking is located on the 2nd floor of the East Campus Parking Structure (ECPS) and are maked as “ACC Irvine Visitor.” The ECPS kiosk is located on the 2nd floor entrance. This is the only machine where Camino visitors can purchase permits to place on their vehicle’s dashboard.
Can freshman have cars at UC Irvine?
Student permits may be purchased using any major credit card Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. As part of UCI’s goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, students living within two miles of campus and freshmen residents of Mesa Court and Middle Earth may not purchase a parking permit.
Can I choose my roommate at UCI?
The Anteater Housing Network (AHN) provides off-campus housing and roommate listings for UCI students. Students can post an ad for a housing or a roommate or create a roommate profile from the My Account page on the AHN website.
Are freshman guaranteed housing at UCI?

Freshmen enrolling for fall 2022 will be guaranteed two years of on-campus housing if the Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) and a housing application are completed by May 1, 2022. The fall 2022 housing application opens on March 1, 2022.

Do UCI dorms have curfew?
No curfew! No rules! Going to college and moving into a dorm room at UCI provides you with the opportunity to be free and live independently. If you want to wake up at noon every day and eat ice cream for all of your meals, no one is going to stop you.
Does UCI dorm allow pets?
Animals. Pet dogs are not permitted in Graduate and Family Housing. Animals needed to provide assistance to persons with disabilities are not deemed pets and are permitted. Residents who wish to bring comfort/assistance animals into housing for a disability related need must contact UCI Disability Services Center.
Do UCI dorms have AC?
The dorms at UCI have no air conditioning which is really a pain. No need to explain. You have the choice to walk to all your classes or bike to all of them.
