How long does it take GSU to process financial aid?
Please allow up to four (4) weeks for a loan application (such as a student Loan Change Form or a parent PLUS Loan Signature Page) to be processed. Please allow four to six (4 – 6) weeks processing for a HOPE application (once we have received all required documents) to be reviewed.

How do I check my financial aid package GSU?
Go to paws.gsu.edu (or visit www.gsu.edu and click on PAWS under the Students tab). Log in to PAWS. Then, select the Finances tab. Go to the Financial Aid Information menu (section on the bottom right).

Zell Miller pays 100% of summer tuition for eligible students. Students must have a 2021-2022 FAFSA or GSFAPP on file. Incoming freshmen students who graduated with a high school core curriculum GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale may qualify.
Does GSU give scholarships?
Georgia State offers scholarships based on financial need and academic merit. We offer university-wide awards that enrolled students may apply for and departmental scholarships that are major-related. Students may apply for scholarships for the next academic year beginning in December .

The only way you can receive a scholarship is if you apply. To apply for university scholarships, log into the scholarship system using your campus ID and password. Applications will open in the prior year on or about December 15th for the following academic year that begins in August.
