How long is a semester at UNT?
The normal load for full-time students is 6 semester hours each term or 12 hours for both summer terms. An undergraduate student with a GPA of less than 3.000 may schedule a maximum of 7 semester hours each term or 14 hours for both summer terms.

How do I drop a class at UNT?
If you wish to withdraw you must do so in person at the Dean of Students Office (Sage Hall 110) during office hours. This is a “one stop shop” for the withdrawal process. Students may only withdraw from the first class day until the official last day to withdraw as indicated in the academic calendar.
