Can you choose your roommate at SFSU?
Will I be able to pick my roommate/apartment-mate? At this time, only returning residents have the ability to select one roommate.
Is SF State gym free?
If I am currently a student don’t I get a free membership? No, all students pay the same membership fee. Most students pay this fee within their tuition, and some students have a fee waiver and they will purchase a membership either online or in person.

Is University of San Francisco a party school?
Although parties happen quite frequently, USF is by no means a “party school”. As a part of the city of San Francisco, the school and its surrounding neighborhoods provide an endless amount of activities for the student body.

Can anyone attend SFSU library?

Is Sfsu library open on weekends?

All Buildings are Open
All university buildings on main campus are now open for normal operations from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Non-administrative buildings will be open 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Does Sfsu require freshmen to live on campus?
While living on campus is not required, it is also not guaranteed. The Housing Office highly recommends students submit their housing application as soon as the housing portal opens in order to increase their chances of obtaining a space and selecting your preferred room type.

Is Bart free for SFSU students?
Effective March 1, 2019, SFSU increased the amount of the discount to 50% for trips to/from the BART Daly City Station. The school reimburses BART for the difference between the regular fare and the discounted fare paid by the student, so the program is revenue neutral to BART.
