When should you contact your advisor?
Experts recommend that students meet with their college academic advisors at least once a semester. However, you may meet with your college academic advisor or email them as often as you like. Contact them whenever you think you need their help or guidance.
Do dropped courses show up on transcripts Ryerson?
Deadlines for dropping courses indicate if you a) are eligible for a full or partial refund and/or b) can drop the course in good academic standing (i.e. the dropped course will not show on your transcript) but you will not receive a refund of any of your tuition fees.

What happens if I fail a course at Brock?
A student may repeat a failed course, but no course may be repeated more than once. Both grades will remain on the student’s transcript but the second grade will be used in the computation of the student’s average. You should contact an academic adviser for assistance.
What is a passing grade at Brock University?
Although 70 percent is the minimum acceptable average for admission to the University, a higher average will be required for most programs.
Can you switch programs at Brock?
Requests for declaration/change of major must be approved by the Centre/Department. Program changes will not result in a tuition adjustment until the following academic year. Please allow five to seven business days for requests to be processed. Inquiries may be sent to [email protected].
Do you call college advisor first name?
Do you call advisor by her first name? As a baseline, if she signs her email with first name, use first name, if she signs it with first and last name, use “Ms. Lastname” unless she has a doctorate, in which case you can optionally use “Dr. Lastname.” Refer to her as ‘bae’ just to be safe.
