As the local public health situation continues to improve, the University has begun to resume allowing visitors on campus.
Can you walk into Harvard campus?
Yes. You can certainly walk around both campuses. Parts of some buildings are open to the public, such as the main building at MIT or the Science Center at Harvard, but most are restricted. Both schools have facilities such as museums, chapels, &c that the public can visit.

and Susan F. Smith Campus Center are open to current Harvard students, faculty, and staff for studying, working, and socializing. Outdoor spaces with tables, chairs, and umbrellas are available including those the second floor roof deck. Food and drink is permitted in all outdoor spaces.

How can I explore Harvard?
The best way to visit the Harvard Campus is by taking a student-led tour. The tours last around 70 minutes and include a map of the campus. When I did it, a very nice student called Jack showed us around and took us to one of the libraries (so beautiful!), the science building, the dorms, and so much more.
Are guests allowed in Harvard dorms?
You may only host guests with the express permission of your House Office or proctor. Overnight guests will not be granted an ID card to swipe into Harvard spaces, so you should plan to accompany your guests during their visit. Campus visitors must follow all University policies while on campus.
Can you pay to get into Harvard?
You may be able to buy your way onto the ‘Dean’s Interest List’ or ‘Director’s List’ — but you can’t buy your way into Harvard. Harvard’s admissions rate for all students was 6.2% in 2015 and has since dropped to 4.6%.

Are Harvard pools open?
The Harvard Swimming Pool is open from June to August. The 7,000 sq. ft. pool is a handicapped accessible zero-depth pool with a capacity for 496 people.
Is Smith Center Harvard open to the public?

Is Harvard reopening in the fall?

Is there a curfew at Harvard?
Juniors and seniors observe a curfew of 1am – 6am on all nights. During curfew hours, students must remain in their own dormitory buildings, unless they receive permission from their proctor by 9pm to be out of their residence.
Does Harvard allow mini fridges?
The only cooking appliance allowed in Harvard dorm rooms is the microfridge, rented from Harvard Student Agencies (HSA) for the low, low price of $250 a year plus deposit.
What can you not bring to Harvard?
Cooking appliances (except those rented through Harvard Student Agencies) are not permitted in House and dormitory rooms. These include but are not limited to coffee/teapots, hot plates, popcorn poppers, etc. 8. Refrigerators may not be installed in bathrooms or closets.
