FYI-Having reviewed about 90% of final HS transcripts for #UGA22, we have rescinded admission offers for seven students due to very poor senior grades. This is not a punishment, but rather based on a deep worry about these students chances of success in their freshman yr at UGA.

Do grades matter after being accepted to college?
Your acceptance CAN be withdrawn if your grades drop significantly. You may need letters of recommendation from your senior year teachers for other things in the future—jobs, scholarships, internships, etc. You don’t want their lasting impression of you to be that you got lazy at the end.
