Is C considered a pass?

Pass/No Pass Classes
A passing grade is considered to be a C or above. These types of courses also do not count towards your GPA because there is no letter grade to assign a numerical value.

C is anywhere between 70% and 79% D – this is still a passing grade, and it’s between 59% and 69% F – this is a failing grade.

What does auditing a class mean UNLV?

Auditing allows you to continue attending a class, but you will not earn a grade or credit for the class. Once you audit a course you cannot change it back* to credit unless it is before the end of the add/drop period for the term.

Is it better to take aw or an F?

Too many “W” grades can affect financial aid eligibility. However, if exercised on limited occasions, a “W” grade (vs. an “F” grade) can make a big difference in a semester GPA.

Will dropped class show on transcript?

There will be no mark on your transcript, so colleges won’t ever see or know that you dropped the class. If you drop a class early on in the semester, try to add another class in its place so you still have a full schedule and can be sure of meeting the number of credits required for graduation.
