How long is the Goleta Pier?
Although the pier’s listed length is 1,450 feet, lifeguards say it’s 1,375 feet (don’t know why they would measure it); the listed width of the pier is 18 feet, the distance from water to pier surface 24 feet (at mean low water).
Are dogs allowed on Goleta Pier?

Is Pismo Beach Open?
Park Hours: Open to daily vehicle traffic between 7 a.m. and 1 hour after sunset. The new closing time aligns with other state park coastal units.
Can you still drive on Pismo Beach?
Mostly common sense. Pismo State Beach and the adjacent Oceano Dunes State Recreational Vehicle Area both allow vehicles on our 8 miles of drivable beach and dune areas. Best conditions are at low tide, the speed limit is 15 mph and staying on the hard packed sand will keep you out of trouble.

What is the difference between East and West Beach in Santa Barbara?
West Beach also has a beautiful wide stretch of beach with a great bike and walking path. West Beach and East Beach are separated by historic Stearns Wharf.
