How long does it take to hear back from UF?
Applicants who have submitted a complete application and all supporting materials by the required deadlines will receive an admissions decision. UF releases decisions on the last Friday in February for our priority round applicants and on the last Friday in March for our space-available applicants.
How hard is it to get accepted to UF Online?
For the academic year 2020-21, the acceptance rate is 62.39% and the yield is 84.37%. 647 men and 717 women applied to UF Online and 397 men and 454 women students were accepted. Among them, 342 men and 376 women were enrolled in the school (Fall 2020).

Is UF Online rolling admissions?
Final decisions are rendered on a rolling basis.
Your UF Online application and application fee are valid for one academic year. If you apply for one term and your timeline changes, we can easily roll your application to a future term.
How do I know if I got into UF?
How will I know when I get an admission’s decision? You can check your application status at https://my.admissions.ufl.edu/apply/status. We will also send you an email notification once the admissions committee has reviewed your file and the decision is available online.
Does UF send acceptance letters?
February 25. You can access your admissions decision via your Check Status. Official written notifications of acceptance are mailed only to admitted students. Non-admitted students are notified through Check Status.

Students are evaluated at the end of the first semester to see if they have met the first semester tracking requirements for their major. If they have, they are guaranteed admission to UF at the end of the first semester.

Can you get deferred from UF?
Deferment of enrollment will only be granted up to one year from your initial acceptance. If you do not start within that one year window, you will need to reapply to UF Online.
