How do I send official transcripts?
An official transcript bears the original signature of the registrar and/or the original seal of the issuing institution. Transcripts and/or English translations may be mailed directly from a Registrar’s office to the Office of Graduate Admissions or you can choose to send the transcripts yourself.
How do I know if CUNY received my transcript?
Once you submit your payment towards the end of your ordering process, you will receive an email confirmation containing the order number and the receipt of the transcript order. A follow up email will be sent letting you know that the order was completed.
How long does it take for CUNY to receive transcripts?
Cuny Transcript orders are processed within 5 to 7 business days. Expect delays in delivery if the Paper Hard-Copy Transcript option is selected. Orders placed online for Paper Hard-Copy Transcripts are being printed at Parchment’s Printing Facility.

How do I upload academic transcripts?
If the transcript is issued to you in a sealed envelope, it is acceptable for you to open it for the purpose of uploading. Make one PDF for each institution listed on the upload site, even if it includes multiple pages, translations, a legend, degree certificate, or diploma. Please keep your transcript pages in order.
How are transcripts sent to colleges?
Transcripts are generated by the education board of conduct, which can be received from the academic institute from where you have pursued your education. These may either be procured by visiting the institution physically or by contacting the authorities and request them to send them via post.
