Do I need to buy a Meal Plan? All On-Campus Residents are required to choose from one of our Purple All Access Plans. Any Commuter Student can purchase a Gold Plan or Purple All Access Plan. Both options are designed for the on-the-go Pirate student in mind.

To help our new students make a smooth and healthy transition to campus living, First-Year students are required to enroll in a Dining Plan. Dining plans are convenient and a great value for Upperclass, GS, and Graduate students, but are not required.

Unused Purple Bucks do roll over from the Fall semester to the Spring. Any unused Purple Bucks will be forfeited on the final day of Spring semester final exams. Students may have extra cash added to their dining plan as, Gold Bucks.

Students may use Dining Dollars for items like drinks and snacks. Please note that unused Dining Dollars automatically roll over from the fall to spring semester only for active spring Meal Plan members. Dining Dollars do not rollover after the spring semester is complete.
Do meal swipes carry over semester Columbia?
Where are my roll-over meals from the fall semester? For increment plans, any unused meals from the fall will become available once you use your entire spring meals. Weekly allowance plans do not roll-over.
What are floating meals?
These meals expire each week and reset each Sunday. 10 – 15 floating meals per term that can be used at the three main dining halls. Use floating meals when your exceed your weekly allotment, at any time within the term.
How do I opt out of NYU meal plan?

“Bounty Bucks” is one of the spending accounts that can be set up to work with the ECU 1 Card. Once funds are deposited into a Bounty Bucks account, it is used like a debit or declining balance account. You can view each of your account balances on the GET site or GET mobile app, including the Bounty Bucks account.

Can freshmen have cars at ECU?
Student permits are purchased according to availability, living arrangements, and credit hours (resident students). All student permits are valid according to the academic year August 1 to July 31 of the following year. These permits are not automatically renewed and must be purchased prior to parking on campus.
