Q: How many CUNY schools can I apply to? A: CUNY will allow you to apply to a maximum of 6 schools. If applying to Macaulay, you can rank two for Macaulay and four for regular. You should be sure to list the schools in preference order – similar to how you ranked for Major Selection!
Can you add more schools to CUNY application after submitting?
Should you need to make changes to your application after submitted, call the CUNY Welcome Center at 212-997-2869. You can click on each individual college to which you have applied to check if supporting documentation is required (see below) and view offers of admission.

Can you accept admission to multiple colleges?
Double depositing means putting down a deposit, and thus accepting admission, at more than one college. Since a student can’t attend multiple colleges, it is considered unethical.

Can you decline a college acceptance after accepting?
Can you reject a college after accepting? Certainly! From the day you accept your acceptance offer to the day of your graduation, you can choose to no longer attend the university you’re currently at. This is even true for those who accept an early decision acceptance offer, which are usually binding.
Can you apply to multiple colleges for early decision?
You may not apply to more than one college under early decision. If you are not accepted, you will either be rejected or deferred. Rejected applicants may not apply again that year. Deferred applicants will be reconsidered during the regular admission period, and are free to apply to other schools.
