Is Warwick university good for economics?

Is Kings College good for economics?
I went to an economics admissions talk at one Scottish university and they were were quite clear that most successful applicants far exceeded (in terms of predicted and achieved grades) the minimum entry requirements for the course. Having said that, KCL is a good university and economics is a new course.

LSE is the best in Europe for economics. Think teaching and feedback is a bit better at Warwick (since amazing research ability doesn’t perfectly translate to good ability to teach). Community will be a bit more insular at LSE and you’re likely to have more of a social life at Warwick.

KCL would be classified as a “semi-target” – very much along the same lines as peer schools like Durham, Bristol, Exeter, St Andrews, Edinburgh etc in that, a solid number of firms will look to attract applications from the school but likely not all of the major firms will.

QMUL is better than KCL in a number of specialities (off the top of my head…IP, dispute resolution, & tax) and is also well-regarded by city law firms. The RAE results are testament to the quality in QMUL’s law faculty (which came higher than KCL in law and generally).
