Where can I park for free at CSU?

There is NO free parking on campus. By state statute, parking must pay for itself at CSU. This means revenue must be generated by parking permit fees to pay for parking maintenance, operations and the construction of new parking lots and garages. How much is an Ohio State parking pass?

These permits are either “C” or “B” surface lot permits and cost between $384 and $567/year. Some of our students purchase a parking garage permit and park in either the Lane Ave., Tuttle, Northwest, or Arps Garages. A garage permit costs between $1008 (C Garage) and $1025 (B Garage) per year.

Visitors may park and pay in the parking lot for designated hourly spaces or purchase a daily permit online or purchase in our office at 1508 Center Avenue, located in the Lake Street Garage. Once on campus, consider taking CSU’s Around the Horn shuttle service.

Overnight parking on campus is permitted in the Research Blvd parking lot with a valid CSU permit or in pay by hour designated spaces on the first level of the Lake Street and South College parking garages only.
