Candidates must possess a good Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) or any university recognised by the Senate of NOUN, with a CGPA not below 4.00 on a 5.00 scale.

Can I do an OU degree without A levels?

If you want to do an MSC or PHD then an OU named degree without A-levels will be fine.

You can apply at any time but Open University modules start at set times during the year. You will need to apply to your partner university in plenty of time to allow you to register on the scheme and for your first OU module.

You can join National Open University as a 100 level, 200 level (Direct Entry) or Postgraduate applicant.

Can I study at the Open University for free?
