Can Non U Of T Students Go To Robarts?

Library buildings & collections Most U of T libraries are open to the public. To borrow books, you will need a U of T library card. Robarts Library’s book stacks (floors 9-13) are closed to the public unless you have a U of T library card.

Who can use Robarts Library?

Normally, Robarts library is open 24 hours a day from Sunday night to Thursday evening during Fall & Winter terms. The service is open to all UofT students, staffs and faculty with a valid TCard. Check webpages below to learn about service availability.

The Common building has a separate entrance at the corner of Huron and Hoskin on the west side of Robarts Library. The Common is also accessible through hallways connecting the extension to the main Robarts building on floors 2–5, including a direct connection to the food court on the second floor.
