Program Overview CAS Pathways offers NYU College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) students the opportunity to pursue a full-time 2-year MBA at NYU Stern within 2-5 years of graduation from CAS. Eligible CAS students will apply in their final year for a deferred admission to NYU Stern’s 2-year MBA program.
Can you apply to both NYU and NYU Stern?

Applicants are permitted to submit admissions applications to two (or more) programs if they are within different schools at NYU. For example, you may apply to a program in the Graduate School of Arts and Science and to a different program at the Steinhardt School.
Can NYU CAS students take stern classes?
No, although we recommend that students complete Introduction to Macroeconomics and Introduction to Microeconomics, Calculus, and Statistics prior to taking any of the Stern courses.
Can you transfer from NYU CAS to Stern?
To be considered as a transfer applicant to Stern, you must: Apply for the fall semester only; Be in your first-year or sophomore year; and. Have completed or be in the process of completing the required coursework.
