UCLA’s highrise residence halls are co-ed, with separate community restrooms and showers for men and women. Most rooms in the residence halls will be shared by three students while the remaining rooms will have two student occupants.

Blackwell Hall:
One of the newest (and therefore nicest) residence halls at Berkeley. This complex is one block from campus and features single and double rooms, with some floors being co-ed. Closest dining hall is probably Cafe 3, which is a block away.

One (1) mini refrigerator is allowed per room and may not be operated in a closet or enclosed area. All refrigerators must be less than six (6) cubic feet, be U.L. Approved, and be in good working condition. Refrigerators must be emptied and unplugged during the winter recess.

Fish are the only pets allowed in UCLA residential halls and suites, but some students have broken the policy and brought in other animals ““ including Pascal, a baby chameleon who lives with a first-year student in the dorms.
