Sitting in on large lectures is pretty easy (so long as you aren’t disruptive), whereas it’s always good to ask permission to sit in on smaller, more intimate classes. If you happen to meet any advisors during your visit, you can always ask them which classes to sit in on.

Yes. You can certainly walk around both campuses. Parts of some buildings are open to the public, such as the main building at MIT or the Science Center at Harvard, but most are restricted. Both schools have facilities such as museums, chapels, &c that the public can visit.

General further education and 6th form colleges will be able to recruit 14 and 15-year-olds directly. All a young person has to do is find out which colleges in their area are open for their age group, apply successfully and then tell their school that they will not be coming back.

We welcome you to attend a campus visit of Harvard College. A campus visit consists of a one hour information session with an admissions officer and 1-2 current undergraduate students, followed by a one hour campus tour led by a current undergraduate student.
