Does Ite Allow Dyed Hair?

Modification to the uniform or prescribed attire and improper dressing (eg. wearing slippers, provocative clothing) are prohibited. Male students must not sport long hair or wear ear rings / ear studs in the College. Students should not sport hair in outrageous colours (for example blue, green, purple, red, ash etc.).

Are tattoos allowed in ite?

Students should not display any tattoos outwardly. All tattoos must be covered up appropriately. Students attending workshops/laboratories must wear proper attire and safety shoes/footwear.

What should I wear to ITE interview?

It is important that you dress neatly for the interview. For a female applicant, you can either wear a dress or skirt/tailored pants and blouse, and put on court shoes. For a male applicant, you can put on a long-sleeved shirt, tailored trousers and proper shoes if you are applying for service skills courses.

To be eligible to take your end-of-module examination, you will need to achieve a minimum attendance of 80%. Your attendance rate is computed based on the cumulative lesson hours for each module in a semester.

Currently, ITE offers the two-year Nitec programmes and the Higher Nitec programmes, which are mostly two years, separately. As such, GCE N-Level holders who enter Nitec courses will typically achieve a Higher Nitec after four years.
