How do I get a UCLA parking permit?
Permits are limited and sold to both commuter and dorm students on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students may visit the Bruin ePermit Portal to purchase a Summer Session permit directly. Note: Weyburn residents will need to contact the Weyburn Administration Office for parking access at (310) 983-1300.
How do you pay for parking at UCLA?

How do UCLA parking permits work?
The Bruin ePermit system works similar to a supermarket scanner with your license plate functioning as the barcode. When read, the numbers of your plate are automatically referenced against the parking database to verify a valid permit for the lot location.

Can freshmen have a car at UCLA?
You can have a car, but if you live on campus you can’t have on campus parking. The school might not provide parking, but there’s lots of other ways to park. One of my friends freshman year bought a parking spot from someone’s apartment off the school’s facebook free & for sale group.
Does UCLA give parking tickets?

Can you take your car to UCLA?
No problem! UCLA Transportation has teamed up with Zipcar to give Bruins access to vehicles parked around campus for mobility when you need it. Pay only for the hours you use, and the hourly fee covers the cost of the car, mileage, insurance, parking, gas and maintenance.
What happens if you don’t pay a UCLA parking ticket?
It doubles if you don’t pay it past the date and keeps getting bigger the more delinquent it is. Then it won’t let you register the car the next year/obtain title if you lost title for whatever reason, or sell the car and transfer owners.
Do UCLA employees get free parking?
