What is passing grade at Snhu?
Pass “P” and Satisfactory “S” Grades: Pass “P” and Satisfactory “S” grades are defined as a “C” or better at the undergraduate level and a “B” or better at the graduate level.
Does D count as passing?
A letter grade of a D is technically considered passing because it not a failure. A D is any percentage between 60-69%, whereas a failure occurs below 60%. Even though a D is a passing grade, it’s barely passing.

C is anywhere between 70% and 79% D – this is still a passing grade, and it’s between 59% and 69% F – this is a failing grade.

How much should a final exam be worth?
A final exam worth 5% of the grade makes so little difference to the students’ grades that there can be limited penalties for skipping the exam, especially in a 10-point system. For example, a student with a prefinal grade of 75% would receive a course grade of 71.25% if they skipped the final.
When can I repeat a course in which I received a D D+ or C?
Students who earned an unsatisfactory grade (i.e., C-, D+, D-, or E) the first time in a course can repeat that course for a grade if they have the dean’s approval through CCAS. This approval is granted through the completion of the online Repeat Course Request Form.
Is a/d a passing grade UIUC?
A passing grade is a D-. However, your overall GPA and major GPA (found in DARS) must be above 2.0 in order for you to graduate or continue without being put on academic probation. There is currently an option to retake a class for grade replacement; however this policy should be used prudently.
