Is there a dress code at UCR?
No jeans, medical scrubs, swim attire, pants with rivets or zippers, or any material deemed to damage equipment is not permitted. A top, bottoms, and closed-toed athletic shoes (non-marking soles) are required. No boots, open-toed shoes, or high heels allowed.

Vehicles should be registered no later than the first day of class in the semester of your first semester at Mercer. Decals are not needed between graduation day of the last school year and the first day of class in the new year.
Is the UCR gym free for students?
If you’re a UCR student, you’re already a member! The cost of your gym membership is included in your UCR tuition, which dates back to two student referendums passed in 1990 (currently adjusted to $20 per quarter) and in 2010 ($149 per quarter).

At UCR, first-years aren’t required to live on-campus. But, about 75% of UCR freshmen choose to live on campus their first year.
