Kaiser Permanente participates in the Oregon Health Plan in several counties. To choose Medicaid with Kaiser Permanente, you must qualify for the Oregon Health Plan and be assigned to one of the Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) in our service area.
Does medical pay for gym membership?
You pay 100% for non-covered services, including gym memberships and fitness programs. Gym memberships or fitness programs may be part of the extra coverage offered by Medicare Advantage Plans, other Medicare health plans, or Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) plans.

OHP is available to adults who earn up to 133 percent of the Federal Poverty Level. For a single person, income should be less than $1,507/month or household income of $3,076 for a family of four. OHP is available to kids and teens whose family earns up to 300 percent of the Federal Poverty Level.
Can you have Oregon Health Plan and Medicare at the same time?
OHP Plus – the state of Oregon can help pay for your Part B Medicare premium, $170.10/month in 2022. It also helps pay for your deductibles, co-insurance or co-pays that Medicare won’t cover. It usually covers or picks up the rest of the medical bill that Medicare or Medicare Advantage won’t pay.
Does Medicare cover 100 percent of hospital bills?
Medicare generally covers 100% of your medical expenses if you are admitted as a public patient in a public hospital. As a public patient, you generally won’t be able to choose your own doctor or choose the day that you are admitted to hospital.
