Does Spartan cash carry over?
Funds remain in accounts and roll over from year to year. Account holders are encouraged to use all funds before closing an account. Accounts may only be closed at the end of the school year or upon leaving the University.

Is Spartan cash refundable?
Unused Spartan Cash remains on your ID card and is non-refundable. Guest passes expire at the end of the semester.
How do I add Spartan cash to MSU?
Cashnet allows you to add Spartan Cash simply when you go to the Quickly Add Spartan Cash form and enter your student PID number (found on your student ID card) and first and last name. Parents, guardians, family and friends can add cash once you have shared your PID number with them.
Are MSU dining halls open to the public?
Please note all residential dining halls are closed to the public. You must have a valid MSU-issued ID card to enter.

This form of cash equivalent currency is included when you purchase a resident meal plan, and offers flexible spending on purchases at all campus dining locations. Spartan Dollars must be used during the semester for which they are purchased.
What is a carte blanche meal plan?
Carte Blanche allows unlimited access to our three All-You-Care-To-Eat Student Restaurants; Cort @ Lower UC, Rathbone and Brodhead. The Carte Blanche plan also includes seven Meal Credits per week.
