Can a boy and girl room together at WVU?

How do I drop out of West Virginia University?
If you need to withdraw from the TERM after the last day to drop a class with a “W”, you may do any of the following:
- Visit the Office of the Registrar.

Can you bring your own fridge to WVU?
You may bring your own refrigerator as long as it does not exceed 3.2 cubic feet and 10 amps. Microwaves are not permitted other than those that are a combination refrigerator/microwave unit. These may be rented from My MicroFridge during New Student Orientation and upon your arrival in Morgantown.
How do I cancel housing at WVU?
To vacate the residence halls, you must check out at the Front Desk of your residence hall and do the following:
- Complete the “Leaving The Residence Halls Form” available at the desk.
- Return any room/mailbox keys that have been issued to you.
- Leave a mail forwarding address.

What does dropping with AW mean WVU?
Students must successfully complete a certain percentage of all attempted credit hours to remain eligible. If a student earns a “W” by withdrawing from a course after add/drop, this counts as attempted hours where the student did not earn a passing grade.

The “AW” or administrative withdrawal grade is assigned by the college when a student has been administratively withdrawn. No academic credit is awarded. The course will count in attempted credits.
What are pod bathrooms in dorms?
Pod bathrooms are a set of individual bathrooms that are grouped together in a “pod” on the hallway. Each pod bathroom is for private use and residents are able lock the door to the bathroom upon entering the space. Pod bathrooms are equipped with shower and toilet fixtures.
Can freshman have their car at WVU?
We discourage bringing a car to campus for first-time freshman students who are not commuting. Free transportation services are available to all students, including shuttles, buses, and the Personal Rapid Transit (PRT). However, our policy does permit first-time students to have a car.
What are the best dorms at WVU?
Stalnaker, Lincoln and Honors are the nicest dorms by far. Towers is a popular freshman choice and pretty good place to live. You’ll meet a lot of people.
How do I get my deposit back from WVU?
Your academic deposit is fully refundable if you formally cancel your WVU attendance by December 1 for spring term enrollment and May 1 for fall term enrollment. You can cancel by following the steps on the Cancel Your Attendance page.
Can you pick your roommate at WVU?

Is the WVU housing deposit refundable?
We will refund $125.00 of your housing deposit if we receive your formal cancelation of intent to enroll by May 1 for the fall term or December 1 for the spring term. After this date, deposits are nonrefundable regardless of when you pay the deposit.
What happens if you drop a class WVU?
Dropping with a Refund
You may drop a course with a 100% refund through your STAR account during the Add/Drop period. No official record of your registration will be retained for courses dropped during this period. This period is variable in length depending on the length of the term of the class.

How Does D/F Repeating a Course Impact Promise Renewal? Croskey notes that dropping a class is better than withdrawing, but withdrawing is better than failing. “A failing grade will lower the student’s GPA, which may prevent a student from participating in a particular major that has a GPA requirement,” Croskey says.
